July Camp Options for children entering Grade 4-6

July 4 – July 8 Creative Art Camp
The Creative Art Camp lets campers express themselves! Campers are introduced to arts and crafts as well as participating in games, outdoor adventures and recreational swimming. During the week, campers can look forward to one full-day field trip to the Leighton Art Centre for a day of sketching.

July 11-15 Innovative Chefs
Discover the joy of cooking. Let your child express themselves through food selection and preparation, nutrition and cooking. They will learn and create using quick, easy recipes. The best part is they get to eat what they make! Campers will also participate in activities such as arts and crafts, games, recreational swimming and outdoor adventures. During the week, campers can look forward to one field trip to the Chinook Honey Farm.

July 18-22  Wheeling Around Town
Bring a set of wheels and we will be cruising around town. Bikes, rollerblades, scooters, skateboards are all acceptable modes of transportation this week! Helmets are not an option so don't forget to bring yours. Camper will also participate in activities such as recreational swimming and sports day activities. During the week campers can look forward to a full day field trip to the BMX park and the Skateboard park in Okotoks.  

July 25-29 Water Sports
Campers will spend a full week enjoying an awesome array of water activities including water balloon toss, swimming, creek adventures, water bucket brigade, water balloon volleyball and much more. Campers will also participate in activities such as hiking, arts and crafts and outdoor fun. There will be a field trip to the High River Water Park.

August Camp Options for children entering Grade 4-6

August 2-5  Anything Goes (no camp on August 1st)
This camp is not a version of Amazing Race, it's not Survivor and it certainly is not Jeopardy. Having said that, this camp owes its existence to all of these things and more! Throughout the week, campers compete in challenges, complete clues to uncover mysteries of the world and earn points to win them fabulous prizes. Campers will look forward to a full day field trip to Anne & Sandy Cross Conservation for a Web of Life hiking adventure.

August 8-12  Ultimate Fitness
From the moment campers arrive, they will be introduced to a camp that will promote health, wellness and fitness. They will build self-esteem and lasting friendships this week. Our campers will look forward to a full day field trip to the WJ Homestead Disc Golf Course.

August 15-19  Water Sports
Campers will spend a full week enjoying an awesome array of water activities including water balloon toss, swimming, creek adventures, water bucket brigade, water balloon volleyball and much more. Campers will participate in activities such as hiking, arts and crafts and outdoor fun. There will be a full day field trip to Calaway Park, please bring your Calaway Park season pass or $10.00 towards admission to the park.

August 22-26 Ultimate Leaders
Get ready to take charge as a camp leader by participating in workshops, games and activities. Participants will plan games for younger campers, practice communication skills and conflict resolution, prepare their summer camp planning project and learn to lead responsibly. Experienced staff will mentor participants as they develop from eager and talented youth into respected, caring and extraordinary Ultimate Leaders.

*Proof of subsidy must be provided at time of registration.
*Parent portion of fees must be paid at time of registration.

Camp Hours

7:00am – 9:00am pre camp care*
9:00am – 4:00pm Camp
4:00pm – 6:00pm post camp care*

*pre & post camp care must be requested at registration

What to Bring

Please remember that children need to bring the following items daily:

    • Bathing Suit & Towel
    • Bug Spray
    • Sunscreen
    • Hat & Extra Socks
    • Water Bottle ($2.00 charge if not brought)
    • Lunch* and Two Snacks

*Lunch program will be offered for $5.50 per day

Please note: No nuts are allowed in our facility. Do not send any products that have nuts as a main ingredient or that may contain nuts.
